6 down, 6 to go

So I got through 6 of the fire warriors this week. So that only leave 6 more. I think I'm gonna take a week break because I'm starting to see red, lol. I'll get to the last few guys next week.

Next up...

Ok, so I finished my battle suit squad but, even though this is a Enclave list I felt like I should do at least one unit of Fire Warriors. Problem is, I really didn't want to do them now. So I've been dragging them out for a while and I decided to push through them. Here's the progress so far and a few (better) pics of the completed battle suits and commander (under way).

Just a quick post of the first official finished squad from my Farsight Enclave army. More to come.

Shas'O.....?

I think this guy is done now. Now I need to name him...hmmm. Maybe I should paint him first.

The shield/Talisman of Arthas Moloch came out nice. I'm happy with it, though I may put some bracers on the gem to show that its fastened to the shield.

The Fusion Blade came out good as well. 

Overall, everything turned out great. It felt good to complete a model after such a long time. I'll get some pics up after I get him painted....and named.

Meanwhile......

Yeah its been a while I know, but I started a new job this year and its taken this long for things to settle. Anyway, I'm back in the lab. I picked up on the Tau again and ordered my commander from Forge World. All of my army commanders are conversions. Some are subtle, some are extreme. This one is kind of in the middle. I haven't picked a head yet but check out the progress thus far.

I'm doing the Farsight Enclaves so having a Fusion Blade is mandatory. This is my take on it.

Finally, the Talisman of Arthas Moloch. I wanted to make it a nice gem, so I'm trying out the gloom prism from my Necron bits. And yes I'm going to find a way to fit that into that shield arm. It's a little too big for the enclosure so some converting will be required. I'll update with a pic once I figure it out. Lol.

Base work

I just got these bases from Jeff over at Dragonforge for a new Marine army I'm starting. They are from his Tech-Deck series. Jeff has a bunch of great looking products for your armies on his site. You should definitely go and check them out.

I ended up having to add a few of my own since the new Centurions are on 50mm's now. I'm sure Jeff will have these available soon, but in the mean time...

Legal issues aside, its always really cool to have someone enjoy your work enough to copy it. I found this while surfing the net. Really awesome if you ask me...
